Who are we

Nová síť is a service organization supporting performing arts and open culture. It actively creates opportunities for collaboration between Czech regions, Prague, and with abroad; improves communication between stakeholders of cultural life and the public administration; and strives for decentralization, development, and cultivation of civic society in the Czech Republic.

Nová síť s main projects in 2026 include:

ART-IN-RES – the international programme supporting arts residencies
Culture Get-Together – a conference on collaboration in culture
SPARSE PLUS – the project supporting and promoting arts in rural settlements of Europe
New Blood on the Stage – the programme supporting young and emerging artists
In close cooperation with Nová síť, the Malá inventura festival will continue to be held from 2026 onwards. Nová síť had been the main organiser of the festival for more than two decades. The festival is currently organised by the Malá inventura z.s. association.More information can be found at: https://malainventura.cz/en/

We are a flexible organisation that responds to change, listens to artists, experts and the general public, and involves them in a network of relationships across regions, centres and the international environment. We connect the hubs of the cultural landscape – between government administration, subsidised organisations and the independent scene. We support the creation and development of projects, offer mediation and consulting, and help cultural actors network from local initiatives to international cooperation.

We are active in Prague, Brno, the regions, and the countryside – places where infrastructure is often lacking, but potential is not.
