The sixth annual conference took place, this time in collaboration with the European project SPARSE Plus, subtitled: European Rural Touring – The Future.

Venue: ARCHA+, Na Poříčí 1047/26, 110 00 Florenc, Prague, Czechia
The Symposium was a continuation of the Culture Get-Together conference, which Nová síť had been organizing since 2020 as a platform for professionals in the field of culture, representatives of local governments, promoters, artists, and the general public interested in live art and cultural cooperation in European regions. This year, for the first time, it joined forces with the international perspective of the SPARSE Plus project to offer a space for discussion not only on cultural cooperation in Czechia, but also in a European context – with a focus on rural areas and culture outside its traditional centers.
The two-day meeting followed on more than seven years of building the international SPARSE Plus project, which aims to strengthen the position of professional performing arts in rural areas. The Symposium presented the results of efforts so far and opened a discussion on how to create a sustainable and balanced system of support for quality art outside major centers.
Participants had the opportunity to connect with prominent international experts in the field of culture, including theorists, promoters and artists, who offered stimulating perspectives on the future of cultural events in rural regions. There were also panel discussions and contributions from artists to boost energy levels.
