In June, we travelled to Thüringen, where we visited a newly emerging artistic and community cultural space in the village of Kottendorf that offers opportunities for artist residencies. The project is envisioned by Daria Gosteva and Frieda Gawenda.
Our representatives, Katarína and Ondřej, explored the site and learned more about its potential for future international collaboration.
Artist in Residence (AIR) programmes provide artists with space for creative work, exchange, inspiration, and international cooperation. Seeking out and connecting initiatives like this with the Czech cultural scene is one of the ways we support the development of cultural networks across Europe.
