Kino Utajeno

Submitted project: Kino Utajenorerun
Name of the submitted file / artist / artistic group, etc.: Kino Utajeno

Kino Utajeno is a site-specific format combining film projection, immersive performance, film education, and a guided architectural tour. Each performance is created for a specific, normally inaccessible space and offers viewers a comprehensive experience that goes beyond the scope of classic cinema. The project has had several successful seasons in Prague and has long been dedicated to audience development and formation. In 2026, Kino Utajeno will cross the borders of Prague for the first time! And it wouldn’t be Kino Utajeno if it didn’t remain a secret for a while longer. However, the project will head out into the region during the summer months. There, it will also test the adaptation of the format to a new community and architectural context.
