The thirteenth year of Malá Inventura (aka “Small Inventory”) festival will be noted for a particularly outstanding performances of contemporary theatre. During 8 days hundreds of visitors have visited its center called Nest in Veletržní palác.

The thirteenth year of Malá Inventura (aka “Small Inventory”) festival will be noted for a particularly outstanding performances of contemporary theatre. During 8 days hundreds of visitors have visited its center called Nest in Veletržní palác.

31 foreign and 20 regional theatre professionals participated this year, and their unprecedented interest in bringing the program to their own stages much pleased both organizers and performers.

Beside usual performances in Czech regions, more than thirty touring performances abroad at international festivals and prestigious Performing Arts centers are currently negotiated - VARNA SUMMER /BG/, THEALTER /HU/, TanzFaktur /D/, Festival temps d´images /RO/, Spoffin /B/, Teatromania /PL/, as well as in Russia, Slovakia, Poland, Great Britain and other countries.

As every year, the Prague display is followed by Mala Inventura in Regions. This autumn, audience may look forward to Malá Inventura Jičín and Malá Inventura Opava.

Promoters showed greatest interest in hosting the following performances: KOREKCE (Jiří Havelka and VerTeDance), MAD CUP OF TEA (Krepsko), IMAGO (Lucia Kašiarová), DUETS (ME-SA), INFORMÁTOŘI (Farma v jeskyni). Negotiations of possible touring performances of the following projects are underway: ŘÍŠE ZVÍŘAT, UMBILICUS, GOG, VADÍ-NEVADÍ.CZ, CLOM, as well as selected projects of “Handa Gote research & development” group and STICKER project.

We have already commenced preparations for the next year - Malá inventura 2016. As every two year, it will be opening gala awards ceremony Czech Theatre DNA, and, as usual, intensified interest from both professionals and public is expected.

The Malá Inventura festival is organized by Nová síť, a Czech cultural network. Its aims to promote the circulation of new theater projects, presentation of Czech culture abroad, as well as cultural networking.

The festival traditional partners are Czech Centers, Prague City Hall and Ministry of Culture Czech Republic.
